This Online Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how Microimp s.r. and its affiliates (Microimp S.r.l )process Personal Data provided to us on websites, mobile sites and applications, and other digital services and products controlled by Microimp S.r.l that contain links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, ( Microimp S.r.l Sites ) Microimp S.r.l is the data controller of Personal Data under applicable law.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the Microimp S.r.l Websites that do not contain links to this Privacy Policy or to third party websites that may be linked to the Microimp S.r.l Websites.

Types of information we collect online

The types of Personal Data that we may collect during your use of the Microimp S.r.l Websites are set out in this section and include both information that you provide to us and information that we automatically collect when you use the Microimp S.r.l Websites.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the term “Personal Data” means information that identifies you or could reasonably be used to do so. Examples of Personal Data include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

The information you provide

You do not necessarily have to register for a service or program to receive much of the information available through the Microimp S.r.l. Sites. Part of our advertisements are presented through Google Display Advertising. As part of this programme, we make use of Google Analytics functions, such as Retargeting. In connection with this feature and other features offered by advertising networks, we and the other operators of such networks, including Google, may use third party cookies (e.g., the DoubleClick cookie) – and in some cases, first party cookies (e.g., the Google Analytics cookie) – to inform, optimize and present advertisements on the Internet, based on your previous visits to the Microimp S.r.l Sites During your visits to the Microimp S.r.l Sites, we may also show you advertisements from some of our affiliated companies.

You can withdraw from Google Ads by visiting https://www.google.com/ads/preferences. Monitoring on mobile devices

Some Microimp S.r.l Sites are available as mobile applications or sites that you can use from your mobile device. If you use a mobile device to access and make use of the Microimp S.r.l Sites, in addition to the other information described above, we may collect the following information specific to your mobile device: device ID or advertising ID, device type, hardware type, Media Access Control (“MAC”) address, International Mobile Equipment Identity (“IMEI”), the version of your mobile device’s operating system, the platform used to access the Microimp S. r.l Site or to download from it (e.g., Apple, Google, Amazon, Windows), location information and information about your device and your use of the Microimp S.r.l Sites

Information acquired from other sources

We may combine information about you that is obtained from a visit to a Microimp S.r.l Site with information obtained from visits to other Microimp S.r.l Sites. We may also combine information about you that is acquired through the Microimp S.r.l Sites with information collected offline, as well as information provided to us by third parties.

How we use your information

We may offer to register your products through our Site, based on your local Site.

Handling of queries and general communications with you

We generally process your personal data when you contact us, send us queries and to respond to your requests and queries.

Legitimate reason for processing

Under European data protection laws, Microimp S.r.l must have a legitimate reason to process your Personal Data. The legitimate reason on a case by case basis depends on the type of specific purposes outlined above that apply to Microimp S.r.l’s processing of your Personal Data:

In some cases, Microimp S.r.l may ask you for your consent to collect and process your Personal Data. If you decide to give your consent, you may later withdraw it by contacting us in the manner indicated in the section “Your Privacy Options”. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing that has already taken place.

The information we share

We only share your Personal Data with third parties in the ways described below. We do not sell or rent Personal Data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Third party advertisements and online behavioural advertising

You may be presented with online advertisements for Microimp S.r.l products and services on third party mobile sites and services that are tailored to your characteristics, such as based on information you provide to Microimp S.r.l or a third party website you visit, or based on your browsing activity, purchases or interests. These types of personalized online advertisements may come from a variety of sources, such as the following:

Product Reports

If you contact Microimp S.r.l about your experience using one of our products, we may use that information to file reports with the public regulatory authority as required by law.

Legal Rights and Obligations

In certain limited circumstances, Microimp S.r.l may be required to disclose your Personal Data in order to comply with legal obligations or requests, such as to comply with reporting requirements to our regulatory authorities regarding the safety of our products, or in connection with the sale or transfer of one of our product lines or divisions, which includes services provided

Your privacy options

You have the right to see and obtain a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you and to ask us to make corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data. For more information about your privacy rights, or if you are unable to resolve an issue directly with us and wish to file a complaint, please contact your local Data Protection Authority.

In all communications to Microimp S.r.l please include your e-mail address, website address, mobile application and/or the specific Microimp S.r.l product where you have entered your Personal Data (e.g. Microimp S.r.l Name.com), together with a detailed explanation of your request. If you wish to delete, amend or correct your Personal Data and you contact us by e-mail, please indicate “Deletion Request” or “Change/Correction Request” in the subject line of the e-mail. We will respond promptly to all reasonable requests; it may be necessary to ask you for additional confirmation of your identity in order to process certain requests.

Data Security

Microimp S.r.l has reasonable technical, administrative and physical controls in place to secure Personal Data collected through the Microimp S.r.l Sites. However, there is always a small chance that an unauthorized third party will intercept your transmission over the Internet or find a way to circumvent our security systems. We therefore urge you to exercise caution when transmitting Personal Data over the Internet, particularly if it involves financial information. Microimp S.r.l cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not obtain access to your Personal Data, therefore, if you submit Personal Data on Microimp S.r.l Sites you should weigh the benefits and risks.

Third Party Sites and Social Media Plug-ins

This Privacy Policy does not apply to Microimp S.r.l Websites that do not contain links to this Privacy Policy, or to third party websites to which you are redirected through links contained on Microimp S.r.l Websites. The Microimp S.r.l Sites may use social media plug-ins (e.g., the Facebook “Like” button, the “Share on Twitter” button) to allow you to easily share information with others. When you visit the Microimp S.r.l Sites, the operator of the social plug-in may place a cookie on your computer or other electronic device that will allow it to recognise individuals who have previously visited our Site. Changes to our Privacy Policy

We only use Personal Data in the manner described in the applicable Privacy Policy when the information was acquired from you or pursuant to your authorisation. However, and subject to any consent requirements, we reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page with the new effective date. Microimp S.r.l encourages you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to check for such changes. Personal Data collected as a result of your continued use of the Microimp S.r.l Websites will be treated in accordance with the currently posted Privacy Policy.
